Become a Bank Support Worker
What matters to the people we support matters to us. It’s their life, their way.
We are looking for someone to join the team supporting 4 people in their own flats in Eastry, Kent, who all enjoy getting out and about in their community. They join in with local events, love to grab a coffee, go shopping and enjoy drives out.
They also enjoy doing a range of activities at home. If you enjoy crafting, playing games or thinking up new and exciting things to try and also enjoy building meaningful relationships and think you could plan, communicate and deliver support with and alongside people, then this is the place for you.
This is a Bank role with shifts available across the week and weekends, including sleep-in shifts.
There are poor public transport links to this location so you will need to drive or have access to transport to be able to get to and from location for shift times starting at 7am and finishing as late as 10pm.
Affinity Trust does not presently hold a Sponsorship Licence and while this status is reviewed regularly, there is no present proposal to apply for such a Licence.
What will we do?
We will train you in everything you need to be a great Bank Support Worker. We will apply and pay for your enhanced DBS, and we have a mentorship scheme in place to provide support and guide you on your journey with us.
What will you do?
Supporting people is really important but it’s not all shopping trips and cafés. We also support people to take medication, assist with personal care, make healthy lifestyle choices and maintain their home in a way that they feel safe, well and happy.
If you want to empower the people we support in Eastry to live the life they choose, and you share our values… Apply to become a Bank Support Worker today.
Ready to do things differently? Submit your application.
We’re committed to being Disability Confident and we guarantee to interview all applicants with a disability who meet the minimum criteria for the vacancy.
This advert may close early if the people we support find their new support worker or sufficient applications are received.
