How You'll Help Us Connect the World
As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will be working on various CATV Amplifier projects as part of the Access Networks Solutions Business Unit. You will work closely with other engineering disciplines and teams to ensure the successful release of these products to our customers. This role will be based in Wallingford, CT.
You Will Make an Impact By

Designing circuits, generating schematics, creating Bills of Material (BOMs), performing Design Verification (DVT) test plans, and capturing the results.
Required Qualifications for Consideration
:
Actively pursuing a bachelor's (upcoming sophomores, juniors and seniors) or master's degree in
electrical and/or Electronic Engineering from an accredited university
:
Proven strong academic performer with a minimum GPA of 3.0
:
Basic knowledge of electronic circuits including :

Knowledge of microprocessor and microcontroller design with the understanding of basic computer architecture
:
Knowledge of serial communications protocols (SPI, I2C, USB)
:
Basic knowledge of Hardware Description Languages (VHDL or Verilog)
:
Basic knowledge of CPLD and FPGA development including design, synthesis, and verification
:
Basic knowledge of SPICE simulation tools
:
Lab experience with Oscilloscopes and Spectrum Analyzers
:
Knowledge of product lifecycle models
:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
:
Excellent teamwork attitude and skills
:
Must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship
:
