Hours: 40 per week working between 07:00 to 20:00 Monday to Friday
Salary: £23,880 per annum rising to £24,380 following successful probation period.

Purpose of the Role
The purpose of our Workshop Operative is to ensure that working alongside our Workshop Coordinator we provide a first-class service for our customers, ensuring they have all point-of-sale items produced to specified requirements on time and within budget. As part of a busy Workshop team there can on some occasions be a requirement to undertake a range of duties including picking, packing and loading orders for dispatch, receiving deliveries, organising stock and performing quality checks to ensure that we provide a first-class service for our customers, ensuring they receive their orders quickly and with 100% accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Providing support in the workshop building and dispatching show boards.
2. Providing support in the Eurolite workshop when required on the assembly of showboards.
3. Helping to produce display materials for customers as advised by the Marketing team.
4. Creating all point-of-sale items that demonstrate the Carlisle Brass products in a high standard of design and function.
5. Assisting with stock level checking and participate in periodic stock takes as required.
6. Storing products accurately in the correct location and to Health & Safety guidelines.
7. Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
8. Exercising care of company equipment and the facility.
9. Dispatching orders correctly.
10. Ensuring timely creation of required products and dispatch in line with customer demand.
11. Maintaining the accuracy of inventory using accurate recording of stock moves.
12. Accurate labelling activities.
13. Undertaking and utilising training as required.
14. Working as part of a team within Carlisle Brass and ASSA ABLOY group of companies.
15. Participating in employee consultation and feedback forums.
16. Any other duties as reasonably directed by the Manager or other Managers within the business.
