44 Hours (4 Nights of 7 Nights weekly rota, Shift: 20:00 – 08:00)

Following a major refurbishment, The Imperial Hotel will open as ILH's flagship 4* Deluxe Hotel in 2024.
We are now recruiting an Assistant Night Manager for our Royal National Hotel. We don't want you to work for us, we want you to work with us and be part of our ILH Family.
As an Assistant Night Manager, you will be working 44 hours a week based on a 4 days on/3 days off schedule. At our Royal National Hotel, you will deputize for the Night Manager and work as part of a team of 3 Assistant Night Managers, managing a team of 15+ night receptionists and porters.
As Night Manager, you will have full responsibility for overseeing and directing all hotel operations and services during the night shift, maintaining both a great guest experience and ensuring a seamless handover of any financial information, KPI targets, and night audits for the Front Office Management team in the morning.
With the safety and security of our guests and team as our highest priority, you’ll ensure that regular Health and Safety checks are conducted as part of your shift, with responsibility for any emergency procedures and evacuation, attending to any incidents with the least disruption to hotel operations.
Leading by example at all times, you will ensure the night team delivers an exceptional journey from check-in to check-out, addressing any shortfalls in service quality and operating standards. You will recruit, train, and develop a team that can create a great impression no matter what time our guests are visiting our hotels.

* Previous operational experience as a Night Manager or an experienced front of house supervisor/manager within a hotel.
* Passion for hospitality – you are all about creating memorable experiences for others.
* Excellent organizational skills, able to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
* A natural leader with great communication skills, able to get the best out of your team.
* A positive can-do attitude, calm under pressure, able to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Previous knowledge of Opera is desirable.
