THE ROLE
This is a unique chance to manage a small number of high value customers in the Automotive and Aerospace industry with full ownership of all negotiations, quotations, stakeholder relationships and meetings. The company sells a vast range of electronic components, PCBA boards, cables, screws etc used in manufacturing, machine building and engineering. Managing a portfolio of around 5-7 large automotive businesses, you will contact and work with buyers, procurement and Supply Chain heads around product sourcing, pricing and supply chain. It’s an all-encompassing commercial role and a great way into brokerage and supply chain processes. This would suit a candidate with good career aspirations, who has either been a junior buyer, procurement or a very commercially minded junior sales person wanting more responsibility. No technical experience is necessary but good attention to detail and written and verbal English is important for quotes, buyer discussions and presenting.
THE PERSON
Our client is looking for either a junior sales professional with 12 months + experience in an internal or face to face selling position. They would also consider a junior buyer who wants to break into sales and use their knowledge of the purchasing chain and commercial negotiations. Someone with a good business head and entrepreneurial approach is key. Full product and systems training will be provided so experience in this industry is not essential. You will need to be autonomous, commercially focused, motivated and forward-thinking to succeed in this role. You will work closely with a small group of high value customers so relationship building and accountability is very important.

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE
* 12 months or more of sales or buying experience – either office-based or in field.
* Proven track record of service delivery for a small group of high value customers.
* Full driving licence and happy driving when needed.
