We are looking for a Key account manager who will consistently achieve sales targets and defined commercial objectives set through a strategic planning process and delivered through a process of advanced Key Account Management (KAM). This is a great Account Management role to work with key clients. Your responsibilities: • Implementing and management of commercial programmes and agreements to maximise sales benefit within key accounts. • Working within allocated budgets and the company’s processes. Understanding and appropriate use of pricing and discount structures. • Developing a comprehensive understanding of the market and identifying commercial threats and opportunities through market changes. • Communicating implications and impact of commercial programmes to company’s stakeholders including sales personnel, supply chain, marketing and finance. • Collaboration with stakeholders when making changes to programmes. • Working closely with all key departments, specifically marketing, finance, and supply teams. • Building and sustaining effective and long-term relationships with key customers, internal and external organisations. • Acquisition of new business. • Adhering to the company’s policies, procedures and GDP Code of Practice. Skills requirements: • Experience selling to mainline wholesaler, short line wholesaler and large pharmacy groups. • Must have experience of working with Generic products. • Ability to learn and adapt to changes and new strategies. • Ability to build positive working relationships at all levels. • Strong presentation skills. • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to meet customer’s needs. • Excellent listening and negotiating skills. • Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail. • Must be able to work both independently and within a team environment. • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office. • Valid driver’s licence.
