The PICOP will become a valued member of our Possessions Management Department, on a Permanent, Full-Time basis, 35 hours per week. You will be instrumental in ensuring the continued safety of all TES 2000 staff and subsequent contracted staff. Due to the nature of the role, having a full UK driving license and vehicle is essential. Hold the following competencies: PICOP, COSS/IWA, SSOWP, PTS, & PS Have an in-depth working knowledge of possession requirements. Be confident in using IT equipment. Hold strong Geographical knowledge of Northeast area. The PICOPs’ typical day: Brief PSS on duties as required, ensuring full understanding of the possession requirements Monitor blocking points and place boards and detonators required to take the possession Undertaking regular checks of the protection measures Carrying out SPICOP and PSS duties as required Briefing PSS on duties as required, ensuring full understanding of the possession requirements Complying with all relevant legislation and railway rules including safety critical communications Carrying out additional duties deemed to be within the position capability as directed by management.
