The Opportunity
In this role, the successful candidate will work across both our Parkhall (Wodonga) and Hillsborough (Beechworth) Retirement Villages in Victoria.
You will take responsibility for providing a high-quality maintenance service which will include identifying and carrying out preventative maintenance, repair and improvement works to the facilities buildings, grounds, and equipment in accordance with the day-to-day and preventative maintenance schedules to ensure that the physical environment for residents is neat, comfortable, safe, and hazard-free.
In fulfilling the role, it is essential that you have:
* LR Drivers Licence (or working towards)
* A positive 'can do' attitude
* Professional, enthusiastic, and friendly manner
* Excellent organisational and communication skills and ability to multi-task
* The ability to work autonomously as well as function as a member of a broader team, and have a strong customer service focus
* Self-starter with excellent time management skills to prioritise tight work schedules
* Experience as a general maintenance officer
* Passion for providing quality care to our residents
* Able to turn your hand to any general maintenance request and fix the issue
