The postholder is required to act as a role model to staff in relation to Tissue Viability, assist the Tissue Viability Clinical Nurse Specialists (TVCNS) in managing the Tissue Viability Service across Lothian to improve patient care in all aspects of Tissue Viability, reducing both risks and costs.
To provide specialist clinical care, advice and support to patients, carers and the multidisciplinary team to promote patient centred quality care and evidence based practice in Tissue Viability.

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
