A forward-thinking school in Barnet is looking for a committed Behaviour Mentor to support pupils with SEMH needs and highly challenging behaviours. If you're passionate about making a difference in young people's lives and have experience in supporting those with additional behavioural needs, we'd love to hear from you.
While school-based experience is not essential, having experience in similar environments such as youth work, care settings, or sports coaching will be an advantage. Past experience working with students facing challenging behaviours is highly desirable.

The successful applicant will:
- Stay calm under pressure and manage difficult situations with sensitivity
- Think creatively in addressing the needs of pupils with complex behaviours
- Show compassion and empathy for each student's individual circumstances
- Inspire and support students with a positive and encouraging attitude
- Work closely with colleagues and parents to foster positive behavioural changes

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
