The Role:
Reporting into the Head of SEO, supported by the wider SEO and Digital Marketing team. Responsibilities include:
1. Support the development of the SEO strategy, working with local technology and marketing teams to implement.
2. Perform keyword research for all brands and key markets, helping define ranking approach and strategy for each brand.
3. Recommend approaches to optimizing technical SEO and on-site strategy.
4. Collaborate with local brand marketing teams to ensure PR, content, and social strategies maximize SEO rankings.
5. Work with the Digital Product Team to optimize websites for user experience and SEO ranking potential.
6. Drive the use of technology, tools, and data to streamline processes and improve decision-making.
7. Summarize, analyze, and present results, using findings to inform strategy formulation.
8. Manage and collaborate with external partners and agencies to maximize output and performance.
9. Adopt a continual 'test and learn' approach to all SEO activities.
10. Research competitor activity and report findings, including gap analysis.
Minimum Requirements:
1. 4 years experience in an SEO role, ideally in a travel or retail environment.
2. Strong technical knowledge and understanding with a flair for all things digital.
3. Experience in user experience and website optimization, usability studies, and A/B testing.
4. Excellent quantitative analysis skills, intuitive mind, and strong problem-solving abilities.
5. Effective and engaging communicator with excellent relationship-building skills.
6. Experience of working in a matrixed organization and with remote, distributed teams.
