Stock & Operational Controller A dynamic and growing company in the telecommunications sector is seeking an experienced Stock & Operational Controller to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent role based in North London. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who excels in inventory management and process optimisation. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate stock records, improving inventory procedures, and ensuring smooth product flow within the company. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring alignment with sales and demand. Stock Replenishment: Monitor inventory levels and place timely replenishment orders. Order Fulfilment: Work closely with internal departments to ensure prompt and accurate order processing. Quality Control: Conduct regular checks to maintain product standards. Data Analysis: Analyse stock trends to optimise turnover and reduce costs. Reporting: Generate reports on stock levels, inventory turnover, and other key metrics. Supplier Collaboration: Communicate with suppliers regarding order tracking and issue resolution. Returns & Defects Management: Oversee the handling of returns, defective products, and warranty claims. Warehouse Efficiency: Optimise space utilisation and storage strategies. Compliance & Process Improvement: Ensure adherence to internal policies and suggest improvements to inventory workflows. Candidate Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 2 years in inventory management, stock control, or a related role. Technical Skills: Familiarity with inventory management systems and proficiency in MS Excel. Organisational & Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret inventory data. Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for liaising with internal teams and suppliers. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
