Role Overview:
As a Live In Carer, you will provide care and support to clients who have spinal cord injuries. Your role will involve assisting with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, and providing emotional support, helping them lead a fulfilling life.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
* Assist with mobility and transferring using hoists or other equipment.
* Manage medications and monitor health conditions.
* Support with physiotherapy exercises and rehabilitation programs.
* Assist with household tasks including meal preparation, cleaning, and shopping.
* Provide companionship and emotional support.
* Keep accurate care records and communicate with healthcare professionals as needed.
Requirements:
* Experience caring for individuals with spinal cord injuries or complex care needs (preferred).
* Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to care.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and adapt to changing client needs.
* Must be eligible to work in the UK (or relevant location).
* A valid driving license (preferred, but not essential).
