What we can offer you: 25 days of annual leave Refer an Engineer to us once you’ve joined and earn £1000 Access to our people’s pension scheme Free physiotherapy service Discounts on everything from groceries to well known retailers Access to a range of resources to support your physical, mental and financial health; so you can lean on us whenever you need to Ongoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to reach your full potential What you'll be doing: Execute work according to schedules, site policies, and procedures; troubleshoot equipment issues as needed Complete required documentation and liaise with sub-contractors during planned maintenance Participate in appropriate training, maintain personal training curricula, and stay familiar with GMP rules and statutory requirements Conduct risk assessments, update maintenance task lists, and review EWI/SOP documents regularly Adhere to site and Veolia EHS guidelines in all work activities Demonstrate flexibility to work on equipment in all buildings and during maintenance shutdowns Participate in audits of mechanical and electrical plant rooms, following up on actions Maintain tools and equipment in good condition Review and improve maintenance performance using KPIs, optimize PM program content, and ensure CMMS system is up-to-date Maximize maintenance efficiency through effective planning and utilization of resources What we're looking for: Recognized trade qualification in electrical or mechanical field; Air Conditioning systems qualification a plus Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role with understanding of various utilities systems Proficiency in HVAC, pumps, compressors, boilers, steam systems, chillers, cooling towers, purified water systems, and CIP systems Knowledge of Building Management Systems (SCADA) and Computerized Maintenance Management Work Order systems Understanding of Preventive Maintenance Systems and ability to work within a documented Permit to Work System Computer literacy and ability to read P&IDs and electrical drawings Understanding of SOPs, GMP Engineering systems, and basic instrumentation Demonstrated hands-on experience in troubleshooting/repairing electrical systems; mechanical experience an advantage Strong teamwork skills, attention to detail, and methodical/analytical approach to work Excellent problem-solving abilities, initiative, and proactive attitude towards duties What's next?
