Letham Primary School, Perth
Letham Primary have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Social Care Officer to join our fab team!
The role will be based at Letham Primary School, 9am-3pm daily and predominately during school term time. There will be four days over holidays in addition to this. This is a fixed term post to June 27, 2025.
The role will involve an allocated case load of children and families who you will be supporting.
A significant part of the role will be record keeping, report writing, and signposting to services.
In addition to this, you will be supporting groups of children over breaks and lunches with a range of activities.
The role will also involve delivering therapeutic support including life story work, bereavement support, etc., for individuals.
The Individual
We are looking for somebody who enjoys a challenge, has a proven track record of working successfully with children and families, has excellent communication (verbal and written) skills, and who can be flexible and adaptable.
Lots of enthusiasm and energy is an added bonus!
You must have the ability to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council within a specified timeframe.
