If you answered yes, this opportunity might be for you About the Role We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join a small, collaborative IT team of three, working on a cutting-edge SaaS platform that supports businesses with innovative fintech and tax software solutions. As part of the team, you will contribute to enhancing the platform’s functionality, creating seamless user experiences, and building secure and efficient backend systems. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy new features for a fintech-focused SaaS platform. Build and maintain both frontend and backend components using modern frameworks and technologies. Optimise the platform for speed, scalability, and usability. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code aligned with industry best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. Contribute to architectural decisions to ensure the platform remains secure, scalable, and innovative. Stay updated on fintech and SaaS trends, technologies, and best practices. Key Requirements Experience: Minimum 2 years in full stack web development within the UK. Work Eligibility: You must have the right to work in the UK and possess UK work experience. Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field preferred but not essential. Technical Stack Frontend: Proficiency in React.js and strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills. Experience with Tailwind CSS. Backend: Experience with Express.js (Node.js) and familiarity with Next.js. Knowledge of Python and authentication frameworks like NextAuth.js. Experience with templating engines such as EJS. Databases: Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL (or other relational databases). Familiarity with ORM tools like Prisma. Nice-to-Have: Experience building fintech platforms or SaaS applications. Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation. What’s in it for You?
