At Window to the Womb, we believe every family should feel reassured throughout their pregnancy and have the opportunity to bond with their unborn baby. It is important to us that we offer an exceptional and safe service in an environment that is comfortable and welcoming. We also help with women's health and provide ultrasound scans in that area, along with blood testing services.
This is a role that fits perfectly around those wanting to work flexibly, to fit around an existing role or family commitments as it is for a zero hours contract and involves working at least one day over the weekend and potentially other shifts during the week in the evenings covering sickness and holidays. Shifts are agreed at least one month in advance.

On a given day, you will work in a team of two (plus the Sonographer) and will undertake the following roles:
1.) Reception
Greet expectant parents and their families in a friendly and polite manner.
Book customers into the clinic as they arrive using the computer system.
Take cash and card payments.
Answer the telephone and deal with inquiries and book customers in for appointments.
Ensure all documentation is completed to meet CQC requirements.
Ensure all health and safety regulations are met and thorough cleanliness is maintained with infection control at the highest standard.
2.) Media Coordinator
Import images from the scan machine and produce customer prints and other gifts.
Transfer digital images via our mobile app.
Check that the documentation filled out in the scan room has been completed fully to meet the requirements of CQC.
Keep the printing area clean and tidy and ready for each customer adhering to infection control procedures.
Discuss with the customer the opportunity to return.
Ensure each customer is fully satisfied with the service before they leave.
3.) Chaperone
Provide the vital link between the Sonographer completing the ultrasound scans and the family, ensuring that from the moment the family arrives, their experience is special.
Build rapport with each customer.
Read the room and connect with families to make all of our customers feel special.
Complete all wellbeing reports in full.
Support the Sonographer throughout the scan process, allowing them to concentrate on the technical aspects of the scan.
Deal with customers with compassion and empathy as the primary objective, including miscarriages and sensitive situations.
Assist the Sonographer in the smooth delivery of referring the expectant mother to the correct services.
Ensure all health and safety regulations are met and thorough cleanliness is maintained with infection control at the highest standard.
