Robert Walters have been retained to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer for a leading Integrated Technology Solutions provider to join their growing UK team in the Buckinghamshire and Midlands area.
The Technical Sales Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
1. Promotion of group's solutions portfolio on the market, including Networking, GPON/XGS-PON, IPTV Hospitality headends, IRS, and FIRS Optical Fibre solutions.
2. Sales promotion activities during customer visits to our distributors and installers.
3. Actively promote and generate new sales leads (e.g., during visits to designers, specifiers, big main contractors, consultants, big system integrators, etc.).
4. Promotion of the group's products and design studios, especially for tenders.
5. Regular visits to wholesalers, distributors, and customers, which may require overnight stays, with detailed reports submitted to headquarters.
6. Full-day presence at distributors' trade counters to support the distributors and their customers on sales.
7. Support customers in the field for any first-level technical issues.
8. Undertake and do basic-medium project design and quotations for customers, as well as involve the group's headquarters in case of larger scale projects.
