Head of HR for a Mechanical & Electrical Construction firm
Full time: office-based role – West London
Salary £80k - £100k
Must hold Level 7 CIPD
A strategic leadership role overseeing HR operations, compliance, and organisational development. This position involves managing a small HR team, advising senior management, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement HR policies, compliance, and strategic workforce planning.
• Provide HR consultation on engagement, compensation, performance, and talent management.
• Advise leadership on employee relations, organisational development, and performance management.
• Ensure legal compliance, oversee HR audits, and manage risk mitigation strategies.
• Foster a positive workplace culture and implement wellbeing initiatives.
• Collaborate with department heads and senior management to drive HR strategies.
Requirements:
• Master's degree in HR or CIPD Level 7 qualification.
• Minimum 5 years' HR generalist experience, preferably in engineering.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with HR software and Microsoft Office.
Additional Information:
• Travel to various sites may be required.
• Occasional out-of-hours work as needed.
