Job summary Applications are invited for a full-time Specialty Doctor in Urology appointment within the Norfolk and Waveney Urology service in response to service requirements, providing care across three Acute Trusts. The main base for this post will be at NNUH, Norwich. A candidate who is unable for personal reasons to undertake the duties of a whole-time post will receive equal consideration. If such a candidate is appointed the job content will be modified as appropriate in consultation with consultant colleagues and local management. Main duties of the job Principle Job Purpose :To work in close association with the Consultant Urologists and associated specialties to provide a comprehensive general urological service at the NNUH Main Duties and Responsibilities: ClinicalTo provide management of in-patients and out-patients for elective and emergency cases.To help reduce waiting lists in both out-patient and operating lists.To contribute to meeting the Surgical Divisions objectives. OrganisationalTo undertake appropriate projects and administration as required by the department.
