Unitas is a higher education not-for-profit based in Norwich, specialising in Youth and Criminal Justice. We are looking for additional support in our student support team to ensure that all students receive a comprehensive support service from Unitas.
Accountable to: Chief Executive
Role Responsibilities
1. Respond to customer enquiries, by phone, email and online.
2. Set up and maintain cohorts of students.
3. Prepare and distribute student packs and materials.
4. Maintain student databases and spreadsheets.
5. Liase with Learning Coaches on student matters as they arise.
6. Collate data for Skills for Justice and other awarding bodies as required.
7. General administration tasks as required from time to time by senior staff.
8. Attendance at promotional events as required.
Essential Skills
1. English and Maths at GCSE Grade C or above (4-9).
2. To conduct their role professionally and work as part of a team.
3. A self-starter – using initiative to improve processes.
4. Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365, particularly Word, Teams, and basic Excel.
5. Excellent verbal and written skills.
6. An enthusiasm for personal development.
Desirable Skills
1. Experience of working in Higher or Further Education, or of studying at this level.
2. Experience of administration associated with the delivery of education including compliance and quality assurance processes.
