We're seeking Geo-Environmental Consultant to be based in our Birmingham and Manchester offices. This is a fantastic opportunity to further your career within an established and successful company that has welfare and wellbeing as core values.
Here's what you'll do:
1. Take ownership of delivering Phase 1 reports, ground investigations, and routine monitoring tasks.
2. Leverage growing technical and commercial skills to contribute to successful project outcomes.
3. Work independently to ensure technical quality, budget compliance, and adherence to project schedules.
4. Collaborate effectively as a team player while maintaining a proactive and ambitious approach to your work.
Our award-winning team serves a wide range of end markets and clients. Our experts provide one-stop access to services ranging from desk studies, site investigation, risk assessment, remediation (strategy development, design, implementation and validation), monitoring and close-out on a wide range of contracts. We work for leading UK and international clients on commissions of varying scale across all sectors, such as industrial, pharmaceutical, strategic land holders, ports, road and rail.
Qualifications

Here's what we're looking for:
1. A good understanding of contaminated land assessment regulations and guidance.
2. Working knowledge of CDM regulations and site management.
3. Development of conceptual site models.
4. Hands-on experience within field investigation, including site management, drilling supervision, collection of groundwater and ground gas samples, or the supervision of remediation activities.
5. Qualitative risk assessment.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write clear and concise technical reports and documents.
7. Clean driving licence.
8. Willing to travel within the UK and work away from home for periods of time.
