Lichfield District Council is looking an experienced Tenancy Sustainment Officer to join our Tenancy Sustainment Team in the Housing Options Service The successful candidate will be responsible for: Delivering a comprehensive support package to vulnerable tenants and Rough Sleepers to enable them to establish and sustain a tenancy. To identify, develop and foster good working relationships with all agencies and organisations that are able to support clients sustain tenancies in Lichfield district. About you Applicant needs to have knowledge and experience of: Housing issues affecting local government and the social and private rented housing market Must be able to demonstrate previous experience of dealing with vulnerable applicants with complex needs An excellent working knowledge of the welfare benefits system Be able to work when required, early mornings, evenings and the occasional weekend About us Lichfield is a Cathedral City with a vibrant and culturally diverse parish, located within the county of Staffordshire Good commuter links to Birmingham New Street Station and future HS2 We offer; Flexible working/Hybrid working to support work-life balance with a requirement of 1 day office based, dependent on your location Up to 31 days annual leave plus public holidays (depending on continuous service) Training and Development support Employee Assistance Programme, providing advice and counselling programmes.
