Post: School Business Manager (part-time 4 days a week)

Hours of work: 24 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks per year) from 9 am to 4 pm with one-hour lunch break. Start and finish times can be negotiated.
Contract type: 1 year contract (with 6 month probation period) with a view to this becoming a permanent role
Start date: Autumn term 2025
Reporting to: Headteacher
Responsible for: Line management of the school budget, premises, IT, and administration teams.
The Governors of Cromer Road Primary wish to appoint a part-time School Business Manager to join our professional and friendly team.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Headteacher.
Key Responsibilities:
The School Business Manager has a key strategic position, duties include:
- Financial management, budgeting, and forecasting
- Procurement and contract management
- Human resources and payroll management
- Health and safety compliance
- Facilities and premises management
- Line management of the school budget, premises (Site Manager), IT, and administration teams.
