A brand new role within my client has come available as they look to add a senior member to their supply chain team. You'll be working closely alongside the CEO of the business.
As Head of Supply Chain you will be pivotal in optimising supply chain operations to meet the demands of the growing business & be responsible for end-to-end supply chain. You'll be looking over the supply chain functions of the site in the UK and US, this will include travel to the US. The role will also include managing the program management team.
You'll be working within a fast paced and rewarding environment. You'll be joining this company at a really exciting time with the order book full and they are breaking down barriers into new technology and sectors. They have had some significant growth this year with no signs of this slowing down either.
This is a role where you'll be working on a global scale with suppliers/contacts all over the globe from the US to Asia. You will be leading a talented supply chain team of which is made up 15 employees so you just be a strong manager. This is a very strategic role where you'll be tasked with developing and implementing sourcing strategies to meet project requirements and company objectives.
You'll be working with some world famous brands which are in a variety of sectors including Aerospace, Automotive. Motorsport, MOD and Marine industries. They have a specially kitted out workshop that you would be proud to show customers which is located conveniently just on the outskirts of Milton Keynes centre. This position will be reporting directly into the managing director.
Any engineering background would be considered for this role. Would also need to be coming from a strong supply chain / logistics style role with experience of working with ERP systems. The role is leading a team of so management experience is required. Relevant experience for this role would include strong commercial, analytical and communication skills.
