Accounts Payable Assistant - Hybrid - Burton upon Trent - Up to £27,000 We're currently supporting a well-established business in their search for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance team at an exciting time of growth and transformation. The Role: As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you'll be responsible for ensuring invoices are processed accurately and on time, reconciling accounts, and resolving queries efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Process invoices and ensure they are ready for payment in a timely manner. Reconcile key accounts monthly and escalate any outstanding queries. Support with aged creditor reviews and resolving debit balances. Assist in preparing payment runs and ensuring due invoices are included. Support annual audit requirements and help drive process automation. Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve payment issues. What We're Looking For: Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role. Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems (Dynamics 365 beneficial). Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships. A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to prioritise workload. Team player with a continuous improvement mindset.
