Job Title:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge radar system modelling, detailed planning, and cost-benefit analysis to optimize system effectiveness and align with programme goals.
You will promote innovative technologies across programmes, shape strategy and policy within the Integrated Business Plan (IBP), and apply your knowledge of configuration management and product lifecycle to deliver solutions with independence and technical integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting radar system modelling, detailed planning, and cost-benefit analysis to optimize system effectiveness and align with programme goals.
* Promoting innovative technologies across programmes, shaping strategy and policy within the Integrated Business Plan (IBP).
* Applying knowledge of configuration management and product lifecycle to deliver solutions with independence and technical integrity.
* Leading large-scale complex system designs, with knowledge of engineering lifecycles and tools.
Requirements:
* Chartered Engineer status or significant experience to progress towards it.
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant STEM discipline.
* Proven experience in systems engineering.
