Main duties of the job

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the EOC Audit Team as an EOC Audit Coordinator. The post holder is expected to be an advocate for this vision and to drive the Trust towards it by facilitating rigorous EOC audit and quality improvement projects.

Job responsibilities
* The post holder will be committed to creating a culture of continuous improvement and will work to improve the effectiveness of processes within the team as well as supporting improvement across the Trust.
* The post holder will be responsible for coordinating EOC audit activities and carrying out No-Send and Clinical Tail audits to identify high risk incidents that require further investigation.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Degree or equivalent experience. Evidence of continuing professional development.
Knowledge
* Knowledge of NHS Structures
* Knowledge of data analysis and associated software/computer systems acquired through formal education or experience.
* High level of computer literacy.
* Understanding of current government and NHS strategy and policy in respect of clinical governance, clinical effectiveness and audit.
Experience
* Experience in a role involving data collection and analysis.
* Experience of providing routine and ad-hoc information reports.
* Knowledge and experience within the NHS and understanding of NHS systems and data formats.
Skills
* Ability to present information logically and concisely both verbally and in writing, including the ability to write reports with clarity.
* Ability to interpret data from a variety of different sources and present it as clear information. Ability to spot flaws in databases and systems and fix them quickly and accurately.
* Ability to create and maintain databases for teams tailored needs.
* Competence in the use of design software.

* Able to work under own initiative or as part of a team.
* Highly organised and pays attention to both the big picture and detail.
