Overview of the role

We are now looking for a highly experienced Account Manager who can take on the role of Public Safety Lead and build our practice in this space.
What will you be doing?
* Build and nurture relationships with customers in the public safety field (mostly police & fire departments)
* Work with new and existing accounts to generate Licensing and Solutions opportunities
* Establishes trust, understand the customers business and work to strengthen the partnership over time.
* Attend face to face customer meetings and conference calls to scope and qualify and nurture the opportunities, and demonstrate the technology to them
* Manage the sales pipeline for your account base and report key deals and opportunities to the Divisional Sales manager when required.
* Manage a renewals pipeline and for all associated clients, ensuring all opportunities to upsell/cross sell are maximised

What are we looking for?
* Proven experience as an account manager within IT solutions with excellent knowledge of the Microsoft product line
* Will have experience within another IT reseller environment
* Experience working with customers such as fire & police department is a big advantage
* Experience developing, scoping and supporting client sales cycles
* Demonstrate and build confidence/credibility with customers with a partnership focus
* A drive and hunger to build something new and take ownership of this business area
*This role will require NPPV level 3 clearance*

Where is the role based?
Our HQ is in Pocklington (YO42), this will be a hybrid role where 2-3 days per week in the office is expected

*Important* BPSS Check
As part of our recruitment process due to the nature of the work we do, all employees are required to undertake a Baseline Personal Security Standard (BPSS) check.
