We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Analytics Manager to join a fast growing team. This role offers autonomy in shaping and leading the analytics structure for the PE backed business, with responsibility for managing a small team of analysts. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent people management skills, and a strategic mindset to drive analytic processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop a team of three junior analysts, providing guidance, support, and professional development to ensure high performance and growth.
* Take ownership of the analytic function and have the autonomy to design, implement, and improve the analytic structure within the business.
* Use advanced Excel and SQL to extract and manipulate data from various systems, including Databricks, to generate insightful analytical reports and dashboards for key stakeholders.
* Work closely with senior leadership and other departments to understand data needs, providing actionable insights to drive business decision-making.
* Continuously assess and streamline analytical processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
* Present findings and recommendations to senior management, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational goals.
* Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data and reporting systems, establishing protocols for data validation and reporting standards.
* Lead and manage analytical related projects from concept to delivery, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
As Analytics Manager you will have:
* Proven experience in an Analytics or data analysis role, with hands-on expertise in Excel, SQL and people management.
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience managing and developing a team.
* Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of the analytical function.
* Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, ideally within a private equity-backed business.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
* Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and quality in all work.
* Experience with Alteryx is nice to have.
