We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with an interest to work within the recycling industry. You will work with our experienced National Industrial Contracts Manager to help grow our business volumes thorough acquisions of new exciting factory accounts. Your Key Responsibilities Identify target accounts in specified industry groupings. Negotiate opportunity to quote / fact find and develop through to quotation and close. Attend regular update meetings with the Commercial Team to report progress on targets. Comply with the Company’s Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety procedures. Perform such other duties as the company may from time to time reasonably require. About You (Key Skills/Competencies) Willingness to learn key elements of the Scrap Metal and Waste Management industry. Professional approach to presentation and strong customer focus. Energy and perseverance needed to achieve targets. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Strong IT skills, in particular MS Word and Excel. Strong logistical, co-ordination and organisation skills combined with the ability to manage a varied workload. Proven track record Ability to work as part of a team
