Job Title: CNC Turner Programmer
Location: Peterborough
Hours: MON FRIDAY Day shift
38.5 Hour working week
*Overtime available*
Pay Rate: £35,000 - £40,000
We are currently recruiting for a CNC Turner Programmer for our client in Peterborough. They are known for providing large scale, medium quantity items to small precision, one off specialist components, including prototype test parts. As well as this they are also able to refurbish and repair parts, as well as manufacture new components from patterns, sketches and engineering drawings, alongside adapting parts to meet clients needs.

**Whats the job?**
* Must have knowledge and experience of CNC Milling, turning basic welding.
* Programming, program rectification, setting and operating of various machines
* Able to work to tight deadlines in an ever-changing production timetable
* Able to work with a variety of materials
* Be able to work under own initiative and have strong problem-solving skills
* Must be able to read and correctly interpret engineering documentation
* Working with a variety of materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, bronze, brass, nylons - all within its various forms and sizes.
* Hold a Full, Clean UK driving licence (the ability to tow a trailer would be advantageous)
**Who can do this?**
* CNC Turning programming experience in necessary
* Basic welding is advantageous
* Must have the ability to work from drawings, patterns and basic instructions
* Experience manufacturing, adapting and repairing components as per customer requests
* Working within a team to complete various projects both one offs and large volume work
* Ideal candidate will be able to work under their own initiative whilst also able to follow directions from the Workshop Manager
* Should have a can do attitude and be able to problem solve.
