Job Description
1. Support multiple clients across multiple technologies.
2. Mentoring of junior team members.
3. Consult with customers across a cross-team environment.
4. Documentation and development of designs, processes, and procedures.
5. Work within a structured ITIL / ISO20000 IT Service Management environment.
6. Works directly with client to gather requirements, design solutions, build proof of concepts and implement solutions.
7. Excellent presentation and reporting skills arising from customer facing and on-site experience.
8. Very strong verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required.
9. Project management skills with experience in stakeholder and communications management
10. Escalation points for major incidents/investigations
11. Service Owner for several services e.g., Azure, Devops
Qualifications
12. 7+ years practical experience working in IT.
13. Strong, first-hand experience of designing, building, and supporting Enterprise solutions.
14. Experience in the full product lifecycle including Concept generation, Design, Build and Support essential.
15. Interpreting, understanding, and solving complex technical problems/incidents.
16. Strategic thinker capable of looking at the ‘big picture’
17. Ability to influence internal teams and customers.
18. Consultancy/project delivery experience with client facing background
19. Strong experience is both multi-servers, stand alone and clustered solutions.
20. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud
21. Excellent troubleshooting skills required.
Technical Skills
22. Specialist in 3 technical areas e.g., Kubernetes, SCCM, M365(InTune), WAF, Citrix, Storage, Azure
23. Strong technical experience across Private cloud (VMWare/HyperV), Office365 and Citrix
24. Excellent working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and Exchange Server
25. Good broad technical knowledge across Public Cloud and Network (AWS, Azure, etc.)
26. Understanding of Cloud & infrastructure integration
27. Strong experience in Cloud deployments (Public & Private)
28. Disaster recovery and site replication solutions experience
29. Experience on SAN/Storage solutions
