Role: Infrastructure Support Engineer Location: Oxfordshire Rate: £300 (Outside IR35) Duration: 6-month initial contract Currently on the lookout for an Infrastructure Support Engineer to join an exciting brand and to take a lead on a pivotal 6-month project. This role will suit someone who is confident, driven, autonomous and is an excellent team player. Our client is ideally looking for someone to start this month for an upcoming project and who would be able to hit the ground running from day one. Essential Must have experience rolling out Single Sign-On (SSO) Experience Collaborating with software owners to determine licensing and access requirements. Experience in creating RBAC groups for managing the sign-on process. Experience integrating applications with Google SSO or SAML protocols. Preparing documentation and providing end-user training to ensure a seamless transition. Migrating systems from private cloud platforms to Azure public cloud. Building new server environments and transferring services to the new platform. Developing test plans to ensure services perform correctly post-migration. Managing post-migration clean-up, decommissioning outdated services, and reviewing cost-saving opportunities. Reviewing the infrastructure software portfolio for necessary updates or end-of-life statuses. Testing software updates in a controlled development environment. Submitting changes for approval via the change management board. Developing SCCM packages and scripts to deploy updates or remove software components. Monitoring the success of software updates across the infrastructure to ensure consistency. Must be willing to work on site 3 days per week in Oxfordshire.
