Main duties of the job
As a Chief Audiologist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audiology care.
Your main duties will include:
* Performing full range of available audiological tests including pure tone audiometry, speech audiometry, tympanometry and probe microphone measurements.
* Providing specialist diagnostic and rehabilitation services appropriate to training and experience such as with complex adults, adults with additional needs or those with tinnitus.
* Leading and providing line management for clinical team members.
* Supervising trainees.
* Supporting the planning and implementation of audit and service evaluation projects.
* Leading quality improvement initiatives.
* Assisting with project planning and service development.
We provide services at Ashford, St Peter's and Woking in Surrey.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* MSc in Audiology/Healthcare Science or equivalent experience
* Registered with Academy for Healthcare Science or Health Care Professions Council
Experience
* Significant post-graduate clinical experience in audiology, including assessment and management of tinnitus and hearing loss
* Management of complex cases and adults with learning disabilities
* Able to perform Speech Audiometry
* Experience of participation in clinical audit and service development
* Staff Management
Skills
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Strong leadership and team working skills
