Then you’re the person we are looking for A new opportunity has risen for an experienced Cook/Kitchen Assistant to join our Mission Out Team. Mission Out is an EPIC outdoor adventure park, offering thrills and a great day out for families and their children. With all that adventure, we are looking for catering assistants for our Pizza Refuel and catering outlets to fuel up our guests for more EPIC times. We have part-time seasonal roles available, with the possibility of additional hours in our other catering establishments. For the Mission Out role, this will be predominantly at weekends and during school holidays. We are looking for energetic and confident people to work in our incredible new kitchens. Our quality is everything to us, we keep our Mission Out menus simple so you can focus on making tasty food in our fast passed kitchens. From burgers to fries, hot dogs and pizzas, then menu is just what our thrill seekers are looking for. In this role you will be required to support the kitchen team with food preparation, cleaning all areas, cooking meats, adding toppings to pizzas, and working as a team to provide fast food that keeps the adventures flowing. Please note for this role, you must be a minimum of 18 years old. You will be expected to adhere to our health and safety standards food safety, as well as contributing to cleaning duties which are in place to keep our kitchen areas, impeccable and safe to work in. Key Responsibilities · To prepare, cook and produce a high level of consistency (including presentation, quality and portion control), and timeliness in order to minimise customer complaints · Look for ways to minimise waste by using the appropriate production methods and controls · To build strong collaborative working relationships with fellow colleagues both inside and outside of the Kitchen · Ensure that all products are date checked, temperature checks are performed to plan, stock is rotated and the kitchen delivers against its Retail and EHO/Food Hygiene Standards · Maintaining the kitchen, floors, preparation areas, equipment, utensils, food preparation equipment to the cleaning and hygiene standards · Sorting, storing and distributing ingredients and deliveries · Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and cooking foodstuffs to the desired menu standards. · Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored safely and appropriately. · Efficiently and safely use and maintain all kitchen equipment such as mixers, pot wash machinery, Ovens etc · To support the Supervisors on specific tasks as directed · Collect and dispose of waste in a safe manner If you can commit to this and believe you’re the right person for this role, then apply now We would love to hear from you.
