Zachary Daniels Recruitment are looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to join a fast-growing, design-led fashion brand north of Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of our clients social media channels, creating and curating content that speaks to our fashion-forward audience. As an early hire, you'll be the sole point of contact for all things social, working closely with one of the co-founders to define and implement the brand's social strategy.
Your mission? To create standout content that's fresh, engaging, and perfectly aligned with the brand's young, modern, and stylish identity. You'll be involved in everything from brainstorming creative concepts to shooting and editing content on your smartphone for our Instagram, TikTok, and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, and other key platforms, focusing on growth and engagement.
Create on-brand, high-quality visual content (photos, videos, reels, stories, etc.) primarily using a smartphone.
Edit content to ensure it is polished, on-brand, and optimised for each platform.
Stay on top of social media trends, fashion content, and industry news to ensure the brand remains relevant and fresh.
Manage content calendars, ensuring to post consistently and stay aligned with product launches, campaigns, and key brand initiatives.
Monitor and analyse social media performance, reporting key insights and adjusting strategies as needed.
Collaborate with the wider team to ensure a cohesive brand message across all touchpoints.About You:
2+ years of social media experience, preferably within a fashion or design-led brand.
Passion for fashion and an eye for trends, with a strong understanding of what resonates with a young, style-conscious audience.
Skilled in content creation, particularly using smartphones for photography and video.
Proficient in editing apps and have a keen eye for detail.
Familiar with social media management tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Instagram Insights, TikTok Analytics).
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
A creative, design-led mindset with a willingness to experiment and try new things.
