Are you experienced with Soldering of PCB's and mechanical assembly/disassembly of Products in a Repair/Service setting?
If so, this is an opportunity to work for a global leader in their field in their busy service centre as a Repair Technician.
What will you be doing?
* Repairing Customer equipment to the required standard
* Using the test jigs available to verify a successful repair.
* Disposal of customer equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements.
* Carrying out hardware modifications as part of internal/customer projects.
* Working collaboratively with other departments.
* Maintaining records of all repairs carried out.
* Following and maintaining process including Health & Safety guidelines
What do we need from you?
* Demonstrable experience in a Repair/Service Environment.
* Soldering of PCB's and mechanical Assembly/disassembly of Products.
* Ability to use relevant Servicing Tools/Jigs & Fixtures.
* Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision and as part of a team.
* Use of Hot Air Gun to remove and replace components on the PCB.
* Ability to accurately follow work instructions.
* Highly accurate and keen eye for detail.
* Familiarity with using MS Office (Excel/Word).
