Your new role
As a Senior Audit Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing audit activities within their organisation. Your responsibilities will include supervising other auditors, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks, and maintaining high-quality standards. Here are the key duties and responsibilities:
1. Audit Planning and Execution
* Assist in developing the annual audit plan.
* Execute and schedule audit engagements based on the approved 12-month audit plan.
* Perform audit work and review the output of subordinates.
* Handle special projects assigned to your team.
2. Team Supervision
* Monitor the activities of other auditors.
* Ensure objectives are met and tasks are completed on time.
* Provide guidance and support to team members.
3. Reporting and Presentations
* Generate and present supervisory committee presentations and reports.
* Guide the committee in fulfilling their responsibilities effectively.
4. Risk Management and Compliance
* Contribute to independent assurance by assessing risk management, internal processes, and governance.
* Safeguard compliance with procedures, regulations, financial reporting, laws, and policies.
* Assist in maintaining an effective control environment.
What you'll need to succeed
* A number of years experience auditing for an Accountancy Practice
* Managing Audit end to end
* Desire to succeed
* ACA / ACCA qualified
What you'll get in return
* Up to £65k
* 25 days plus Bank Holidays
* Hybrid Working
