The Role This is an exciting role where you will play a crucial part in supporting business development initiatives for various opportunities, ranging from standalone to multi-site contracts, predominantly in the mechanical domain. Role Responsibilities Prepare detailed estimates and participate in detailed risk assessments. Ensure all tenders are reviewed by the Estimating Lead or Directors. Maintain an up-to-date library of outputs and pricing data. Support bid production across different business areas when needed. Act as bid manager for complex or high value tenders Oversee the preparation and submission of estimates and tenders. Apply industry knowledge and best practices to estimating tasks Contribute innovative solutions to enhance business development efforts. What we are looking for Experience in a similar role within an M&E environment. Strong skills in cost estimation and evaluating bids. Proficient in reading construction drawings with a strong knowledge of mechanical installations and construction methods. Ability to evaluate bids from sub-contractors and clients. Experienced in creating project budgets and cost plans. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimation software (e.g., Trimble). Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
