Technical Engineer – Vehicle Fire Protection Systems

We are looking for a Technical Engineer to provide technical sales support, training, and design applications across the EMEA region. This role requires a hands-on approach to supporting customers, delivering training, and ensuring seamless communication between customers and internal business functions.

What You Will Do
* Provide technical & onsite support to customers across the EMEA region, including remote locations.
* Support the full range of ANSUL Vehicle Fire Protection Systems.
* Design and deliver customer and internal employee training.
* Act as a liaison between customers and internal business functions such as product management and R&D.
* Draft technical letters/statements for customer-specific issues and solutions.
* Offer field support for technical problem-solving.
What We’re Looking For
* Customer-focused, team player with excellent problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to explain complex technical concepts effectively.
* General knowledge of the Fire Protection Industry with a specific focus on Vehicle Fire Protection Solutions.
* Understanding and application of industry standards.
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite; Salesforce.com & SAP experience is desirable.
* Willingness to travel extensively (Africa, Southern Europe, Nordics in particular) including to remote locations such as mines.
* FM5970 knowledge is an advantage.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
* Experience in designing/installing Vehicle Fire Suppression Systems.
* Ability to create and interpret Vehicle System Schematics.
