RRP Business Analyst £ Competitive London Contracting position HSBC are currently searching for an RRP Business Analyst to join their team in London on a contract basis. This position is required to support the analysis of the deep restructuring playbooks and TSA agreement. Role Description: HBUK Playbook: A playbook specific to HBUK that consolidates analysis on HBUK contained within various documents (Deep Restructuring Playbook and Multiple Transaction Assessment) into one document that provides an explicit capability for the separability of HBUK, focussed on the key operational activities, interdependencies, risks and issues to separate out HBUK from the group. Enhancements to Qualitative Assessment Templates: Enhancing a selection of QATs to reflect the operational considerations detailed within the Deep Restructuring Playbook. This would build knowledge at group level on the content of key management actions and build capability in the entity of operational factors to consider when enacting a management action. Business Reorganisation Plan (BRP) Improvement Plan: The 2024 integrated test demonstrated our ability to produce a BRP in accordance with the Bank of Englands resolution timeline. However, the exercise demonstrated that improvements can be made and a plan formulated to update the BRP documents, provide guidance and explanation to stakeholders, and better prepare us to complete this exercise in a live scenario. Restructuring Modelling: We plan to conduct a piece of financial analysis at group level that is an extension of the Assessment of Franchise Viability (AFV) conducted in 2022. We would deepen our analysis on the AFV by testing the assumptions underlying the analysis and evaluating how US management actions support a full winddown. Testing: A testing plan is proposed for 2025 that includes a detailed review of all restructuring artefacts, a desktop walkthrough of the Deep Restructuring Playbook and artefacts, and testing of the restructuring barrier through group wide integrated tests and senior management fire drills. Experience Required: Financial analysis and modelling, particularly in restructuring and viability Experience with financial forecasting Strong project management experience within a financial services environment Ability to manage multiple workstreams at once Understanding of regulatory requirements Strong skills in consolidating and documenting information into clear, comprehensive playbooks and templates Strong stakeholder management skills
