The role: Transform Housing & Support have ambitious plans and this is a great opportunity for a dynamic, self-motivated and experienced Rents & Service Charges Officer to join the finance team. The Rents and Service Charges Officer is responsible for managing the rent and service charge accounts within Transform. This includes calculating charges, managing rent statements, monitoring payments, and ensuring that all related activities comply with the Regulator of Social Housing guidelines. The role plays a key part in maintaining the financial health of the organisation by ensuring accurate and timely recording of rent and service charges and rent collections thereby supporting tenants with their financial obligations. We’re ideally looking for: As Rents & Service Charges Officer, you will have a strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and knowledge of rents and service charges. Familiarity with housing association regulations and compliance requirements is an advantage. Ideally you will have at least 2 years of experience in a finance or rents & service charges role, preferably within a housing association, or similar environment. Strong understanding and knowledge of rent and service charge calculation, housing regulations and financial management practices in the context of social housing.
