Main duties of the job Conduct diagnostic hearing tests for patients with Ear Nose and Throat conditions, including audiograms, tympanograms, and pure tone air/bone conduction tests. Ensure prompt referral to ENT specialists when necessary, in accordance with clinical pathways. Maintain open communication with referring GP's to enhance clinical awareness and collaboration. Adhere to Significant Event Analysis procedures and report untoward events in a timely manner. Collaborate with local Audiology/ENT services and secondary care clinicians to improve patient care pathways. Deliver a quality service in compliance with professional codes of conduct and regulatory standards. Prioritize and manage workload to maintain quality and promote patient safety. Participate in quality governance systems, audits, and evaluations to drive continuous improvement. Support professional development through ongoing learning and training activities.
