The Role: Working at the forefront of our depots, on a hire desk, the Mobile Hire & Sales Coordinator plays a vital role in the successful running of the business. The Mobile Hire & Sales Coordinator will provide holiday, absence and staff shortage cover at Non Mechanical and Welfare depots within the region and cover in the absence of a General Manager. The role will involve processing orders, coordinating drivers and everything in between. The Mobile Hire & Sales Coordinator will also be responsible for bringing on new suppliers and stock control, arranging the delivery of parts to other GAP depots within the region. This is a challenging and rewarding role that provides a fantastic platform for you to grow and progress within the organisation. Please note as this is a regional position it will involve occasional travel and overnight stays. Applicants should have: Previous experience of working within a high-volume hire desk role Excellent customer service skills with a focus on increasing sales Effective communicator with strong organisational skills and attention to detail Proficient IT skills with working knowledge of MS Office including Outlook and Excel Strong team player with the ability to work to own initiative Driving licence GAP Hire Solutions now has 10 divisions offering the hire of equipment throughout the UK.
