The Lead Worker service will be delivered throughout the Birmingham Local Authority Area.
This service is survivor-specific and community-based providing up to 12 months' specialist support to survivors of domestic abuse who require regular help with recovery, rebuilding their lives and developing resilience.
The Lead Worker service offers early targeted support for survivors to help them to prevent crisis, escalated risk, or worsening health and wellbeing. The service will provide a range of in-depth, personalised, specialist support to help survivors recover and rebuild from the devasting impacts of domestic abuse.
The Lead Worker will be that vital link between the survivor and other appropriate services, both statutory and non-statutory, acting as advocate, unblocking barriers, and facilitating access into appropriate services.
The Lead worker service will co-ordinate interventions delivered by other agencies to ensure that the right support is offered at the right time by others...
