We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our successful English department and make a real difference in students' learning journey. About the Role As an HLTA for Maths, you will play a key role in enhancing the delivery of high-quality Math education across the school. Working closely with teachers, you will: • Plan and deliver targeted interventions, run small group sessions, and support whole-classes. • Support students in improving their English skills, increasing confidence, and building a love for the subject. • Identify and address learning needs, ensuring all students can access the curriculum effectively. • Assist in assessing and tracking student progress, identifying areas for improvement. The ideal candidate will; • Hold HLTA status or equivalent qualifications. • Have a strong understanding of the English curriculum and teaching practices. • Possess excellent communication and organisational skills. • Be passionate about supporting young people to achieve their full potential. • Have experience working with students in a classroom or intervention setting. • Demonstrate the ability to manage behaviour effectively and build positive relationships with students and staff. • Be committed to promoting equal opportunities and safeguarding within education.
