We are looking for a Recovery Nurse/Practitioner to join our team. As part of our professional, friendly and compassionate team, you will do everything you can to ensure the patients' treatment is of the highest standard. Our focus at all times is on ensuring that our patients receive high-quality treatment quickly, in clean and comfortable surroundings. You will be working as part of a friendly, welcoming, and expert multidisciplinary Theatre Team supported by our experienced Theatre Manager. It goes without saying that privacy and confidentiality are key throughout the team, and you will act as an advocate for the patient in the intra-operative phase and be responsible for total patient care in the perioperative phase.
Responsibilities:
* Participate in all aspects of Post-Operative Care work, and provide excellent standards of patient care and safety in accordance with the Practice Plus Group philosophy and objectives, policies, and legal requirements.
* Involve in the assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care and work within a flexible team structure involving a multi-disciplinary team.
Requirements:
You will be a part 1 registered NMC Nurse with experience of being a theatre practitioner or a HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner. As well as being up to date with current research and developments in theatre practice, you will have a sound knowledge of Health and Safety/Risk management within the operating department. Excellent organisational skills, proven ability to problem solve, and remain calm under pressure are essential.
