Payroll Administrator - HMNB Clyde £12.32 per hour 35 hours per week Monday to Friday We're recruiting an experienced Payroll Administrator who is friendly, adaptable and can deliver Payroll administrative support for Defence on a full time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week. You'll be responsible for ensuring our offices run smoothly and efficiently and will be given every opportunity to progress within a company that invests in its people, celebrates individuality, and rewards and recognises employees who go beyond the plate. Here's what you need to know before applying: Your key responsibilities will include: Process payroll accurately for various staff categories on weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly schedules. Manage overtime, holiday pay, and leave balances while ensuring compliance with time-tracking policies. Maintain and update HR records for hires, promotions, and salary changes. Stay informed on labor law updates and ensure adherence to work time and overtime regulations. Address employee inquiries, resolve payroll discrepancies, and provide prompt support. Conduct regular audits for data accuracy and system performance. Generate payroll reports for management and finance teams. Our ideal Administrator will: Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). Proven experience in payroll administration, ideally within catering, hospitality, or events. Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., ADP, QuickBooks) and Excel, with strong analytical and organizational abilities. Essential Strong office administration skills and excellent personal presentation. GCSE/O’Levels including: Maths & English (or equivalent) Flexible with working hours and able to work independently.
