Office Manager & Directors PA (maternity cover) Outline: This is fantastic opportunity for someone to work with a great company within a highly rewarding sector, medical technology. A respected company with a great range of products and training services, looking for an enthusiastic person to join the team in an Office Manager and Director PA function for a 12-month period. Based at the Head Office at Filton, near Bristol, and working alongside a great team. (January / February start, depending on the successful applicant’s availability) The Company: A well-established, very friendly, and highly regarded business that have contracts with global manufacturers. Great range of products, found within hospitals and healthcare settings across the country. The team are a friendly bunch across a few areas of the business which includes sales, education, and service / technical. The Role: This is an Office Manager and Director PA role for maternity cover at the Filton / Bristol Head Office. In this role and you will be carrying out various tasks, including Business Finance Administration, supporting the CEO support, planning for promotional and educational events, along with general admin duties. Your duties will include, but are limited to the following; Quotations, Purchasing, Invoicing, Finance Reports, Credit Control, Diary and Inbox Management, Travel Bookings, Conference Planning, Issuing Course Material, Liaising with course delegates or attendees, Customer Service and various other duties across the business. This roles involves supporting the Sales, Service and Educational team, along with the CEO. This is not a managerial role, but you will be overseeing a number of colleagues in a supporting manner. Based at the Head Office for 37.5 hours per week, with some flexibility around working hours. This role is to start in January or February start, depending on the successful applicant’s availability. Although this is a 12-month fixed term contract, with company growth there is potential to stay on, if a suitable position and is available The Package: Basic salary £30-40k (depending on experience) Pension scheme 20 days annual leave, plus public holidays Onsite gym available Free onsite car park The Ideal Person: This role is ideally suited to someone with a strong background in Office Management or as a Directors PA, from any industry or sector. It is essential to have strong knowledge of accounting software, such as Xero You must have good experience across Microsoft Office packages such as Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook. You must be well organised, detail orientated and with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. It’s vital you’re a team player who can multi-task, engage with people of all levels, and work calmly under pressure. Experience of the Public or Private healthcare sector in any way would be beneficial but is not essential. Applications must live in a reasonable commuting distance of Filton (BS34) Head Office.
